The Embody Wellbeing Transformational Program

We are bringing our programs out of the studio into the world! The Embody Wellbeing Transformational Program is one of our signature products – we are so excited about this program and the potential it has to facilitate powerful change and increase health and wellbeing for participants from all walks of life. The program is readily adaptable across an extensive range of areas including government, corporate and education sectors, community welfare organisations, correctional services and sporting teams to name a few.

The Embody Wellbeing Transformational Program is a comprehensive program based on a contemporary yoga practice with mindfulness meditation and other wellbeing practices and tools integrated into the program.

The program is designed to be taught over 12 weeks with one or more sessions per week, but it may be condensed into 6 weeks or rolled out over a longer term program. All Embody Wellbeing Transformational Programs are customised for the context that the program will be facilitated in.

In the model 12 week program there are 2 x 6 week structured blocks. The program builds week-by-week; the first block begins with basic introductory practices and works through different components of wellbeing – from body and breath awareness practices, emotional acceptance and self regulation tools, to mental focus, balance and productivity. Other valuable life skills and tools such as basic communication (being present and listening) and concepts like compassion, forgiveness, empathy and purpose are incorporated in the practice. The yoga sequences and body areas of focus are designed to match the topic of the session. The principles of mindfulness are taught and integrated through all sessions. The second block refreshes and consolidates what has been covered in the first block and builds in additional teachings.

This program can also be taught in a 3x3hr workshop series.

Sessions are taught with awareness of the level of proficiency and fitness of the participants and modifications and alternative poses are offered to ensure a safe and effective practice. The key concepts and tools are taught throughout the yoga practice and meditation, not as a separate discussion. The type of yoga taught in the program is Embody Yoga.
