The workshop is an exploration through self enquiry, supporting you to connect with yourself and your unique path.

The morning session is Justine’s signature offering – ‘The Remedy’ where you will journal, focus, breathe, bend, sweat and meet yourself. We break for a nourishing light lunch which is provided before moving into the Cacao Ceremony.

Cacao is a beautiful heart opening medicine – it assists with communication, helping us to drop into ourselves, experience joy, inspiration and relaxation. Through sacred processes, we share ceremonial grade cacao and are taken on a sensory journey through breath and sound.

About The Remedy

Based upon experiential teachings from Justine’s own practice, The Remedy is a process to assist your transformation towards clarity, strength, and heart-based living. Born from times that represented adversity for Justine, The Remedy is a practice that brings you ‘home’ to your body to be able to access a deeper connection to your truth within.

The Remedy is based on self-enquiry methods combined with a somatic movement and breath work practice, building strength, flexibility and physical and mental resilience.

Who is it for?

This workshop is tailored for any level of fitness and yoga experience. Please contact us if you have any health issues that may impact your participation. In this practice you will be invited to listen to your body and modify if you need at any time.

Things to know

Please bring a:

  • Journal and pen

  • Cushion

  • Pillow case (for a yoga bolster – which is supplied)

  • Water bottle

  • Yoga mat or even a thicker camping style mat for more comfort lying down in the final session

  • Blankets

  • Eye mask

Wear comfortable yoga-type clothing and have shoes to move in. Bring layers for warmth – we will be moving physically in part of the day and being still at points – so be prepared with different clothes.

We will provide a light nourishing vegetarian soup. The cacao will have a small amount of macadamia milk, spices and honey in it.

Please let us know any dietary considerations or requirements.

It is good to have eaten healthily and lightly in the days leading up to the workshop. It is recommended that you have a fairly empty stomach on the day – but not so empty that it is distracting! Best advice – eat lightly a couple hours beforehand, be well hydrated and try to minimise caffeine intake. Also, be mindful in the days leading up to the workshop – as best you can, eat well, avoid alcohol and other drugs.

We start on time! Please arrive 10 minutes early to set up and settle in. This is super important. Plan your trip to have plenty of time to find a park and walk to the studio. Uralla can bustle a bit on the weekend – give yourself extra time to find a park on the street. The Flow Shed is located at 3/43 Bridge St, Uralla. Follow the sign down the driveway behind Jobs Australia.

If you are going to be late because of unforeseen circumstances, please let Rebecca know by texting 0432112749.
