Based in Armidale in the New England, @The Yoga Shed has high quality yoga classes and workshops on a variety of topics. It is a space to come back home and re-discover yourself while you move, breathe and sometimes sweat! Be nourished, challenged and supported.
Bec teaches through the week:
Monday 5.45pm - Zen Express
45min class with breathwork, meditation and a deep dive into long relaxation.
Tuesday 6.00am - Yogalates
A 60min fusion of yoga and Pilates - a core focused yoga.
Wednesday 5.45pm - Power Flow
Ol school - power yoga, but with increased mindfulness and presence - 60mins of moving, sweating and breathing.
Saturday 8.00am - Yoga Revive
Alternating with Kate, this 90min class is fun, dynamic and often involves some funky music!
Pulse is based in Uralla, New England and provides a range of gym classes, offering unlimited memberships for open weights, cardio and gym classes. They also have a gorgeous cafe with great coffee and a warm fire.
Bec teaches at Pulse for two classes:
Tuesday 9.30pm - Gentle Yoga
A 60min class for all levels to stretch and move through gentle flowing yoga with breath techniques and relaxation at the end to support the nervous system and release stress.
Wednesday 10.30am - Simply Move
This 45min class is targeted at women over 65 to come together to connect, move your body gently, targeting increased joint mobility.
During this class you will mindfully strengthen the body, do weight bearing activities and work with balance - all important things to do as we age.
Learn breathing techniques to help release stress, relax and sleep better. Plus share a great coffee after with this supportive community!
Elements Fitness Armidale has a variety of circuit and group classes, plus 24/7 access to cardio equipment and weights. This large gym has a holistic approach to health and fitness, catering for the whole community.
Bec facilitates a monthly 90 min class:
One Sunday a month @2pm - Connect
De-stress, de-frag and un-plug for 90mins using evidence-based practices – breathwork, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation.
The first part of the class is focused on breathwork and mindfulness practices, and the second part is more around relaxation and rest. Make a comfy nest, bring blankets, a cushion or pillow (and an eye pillow if you like!) and settle in for some deep relaxation.
This is an ongoing class held monthly. It is suitable for all levels – complete beginners to advanced practitioners.
